Beginning Your New Worktop Design
We know that when it comes to kitchen or bathroom worktops, customers usually have an idea already in mind, and most have typically already had designs produced by a kitchen or bathroom company. These are great for us to work from, along with any door or flooring samples you might have; this helps us understand what look you want to achieve and find materials to complement your chosen style. This is a great starting point for a design and quote but equally, a simple room sketch with dimensions, or even a photograph of your existing kitchen or bathroom is sufficient for our experts to work out what you need based on the size of your units!

Meet with us in our luxury worktop showroom to explore our expansive range of work surface materials including quartz, sintered stone and natural stone, as well as the very latest in worktop trends. We have a full collection of worktop display sets and large format samples to help you visualise different materials and how they can look, and for your preferred styles we can draw out your kitchen and present how your kitchen or bathroom could look on our showroom’s large TV screen. Finalising your Worktop Design Details
During your worktop design meeting we can also show you examples of different worktop edge details and thicknesses, and decide design details such as whether you want drainer grooves or else a flat, recessed area. By the end of this meeting, we will agree your general design and quote in principle, following which we will arrange for one of our expert work surface templaters to visit, measure up, and confirm the finer details of your design with you prior to installation.
Professional Kitchen and Bathroom Worktop Installation
At Stone Sense we have our own team of fully employed kitchen and bathroom work surface installers with more than 20 years experience in fitting luxury stone worktops. Professional, well-presented, and highly knowledgeable on worktops they will talk you through the installation process. This usually takes place a week after the templating and takes 3-4 hours to complete depending on the size of your work surfaces. On completion, your installer will leave you with a fully fitted and sealed worktop that you can start using the same day.
Work Surface and Installation Warranties
As an approved worksurface fabricator, all worksurface materials installed by our fitters are covered by a warranty, along with an installation warranty. Our worktop installers can cover this with you during their visit. During this time, they can also give you advice on how to clean and maintain your new work surfaces so you can keep them looking new and continue to enjoy them to the fullest long-term!
